Optimal site selection using multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) is an important step to support makers locate places that benefit the maximum potential of technology's preconditions. As a new, emerging and renewable technology in Brazil, concentrated solar power (CSP) plays role generation mix, it’s crucial indicate viability Brazilian regions CSP plants. To achieve this goal, detailed workflow based on geographic information system (GIS AHP) set free software, which criteria are selected from literature, acquired as geospatial data, weighted with parity matrices through online questionnaires filled by experts, processed QGIS linear combination (WLC), results validated its AHP consistency, thematic accuracy comparative VIKOR TOPSIS methodologies. product, sites mapped according indices, higher values most Northeast, Central-west Southeast showing good stability validation. Thereby, software allows methodology be replicated locating viable restrictive for technologies.
